We all want to sell our products and get fantastic ROI, right? Well, today I’m going to guide you through the process of making viral videos that can help you do just that.
The Pros of Using Videos over Images
Why use videos instead of images for promoting the products you’re testing out? There are a couple of reasons, honestly:
- Most products can’t be described in a single picture — at least those that solve actual problems can’t.
- Facebook likes videos more than images (because users like watching videos more), and does a better job of promoting advertisers that use the video format.
- Videos allow you to create a lot of Lookalike audiences and offer more opportunities for retargeting. You can’t do that with images.
Now that we’ve got that out of the way, let’s move on to video editing software that you should be using for your viral videos. I recommend Adobe Premiere Pro (this one is probably the best out there), but you can also use Camtasia (similar to Premiere Pro) or Animoto (more beginner-friendly).
What’s important is that you can speed up your clips, blur logos/watermarks from third parties, add your own, and change dimensions. That’s what you want out of your software.
