When you have an offer and GEO, the next step is to find winning ads and landing pages for your campaign.

The best way to find out what ads and landing pages super affiliates are running is by using spy tools such as Adplexity. We want to spy on native traffic sources so the best tool for us is Adplexity Native.

To get started search for the keyword that is relevant to your offer.

I like to use the keyword ’’250’’ and search on landing pages, since most of these offers require a $250 deposit and all the best landers mention this somewhere in the text.

Next you need to select your target GEO.

Then to find the best performing campaigns, you simply need to sort the ads by receiving the most traffic.

This is the best indicator that they spent lots of money on these campaigns, aka they were profitable.

Then look at the first 10 results, usually those are the top performers. Click through the ads to see what landing pages they are using. 

Make notes for yourself and create very similar looking, but unique ad images.

You can download the landing pages as well, change the images and headlines to make your unique twist.

Once you have your landers, it’s time to set up campaign tracking.

How to Setup Tracking

My favorite tracking platform is Redtrack, so we are going to use that for tracking our campaigns. Tracking is very important, without it you lose important data that is crucial for optimizing your campaigns, and without optimizing it’s hard to make campaigns profitable.

So let me show you how to set up tracking with Redtrack, however it’s pretty much the same with any tracker.

STEP #1 Add your landing page

Go to Landers, name your landing page, enter it’s URL and click save.

STEP #2 Add your Offer Source (Supreme Media)

Go to Offer sources, select your CPA network from the list (Supreme Media in our case) and click on the Add button.

STEP #3 Add your offer

Go to offers, name your offer, select the offer source (Supreme media) and add your affiliate link in the URL box.

Make sure you add your CPA network’s parameter for the ClickID. In our case with Supreme Media it’s sub1={clickid}

STEP #4 Add your Traffic Source

Go to traffic sources, select your traffic source from the list (Voluum DSP in our case), and click on the Add button.

STEP #5 Create your tracking campaign

Go to campaigns, name your campaign and select the traffic source.

After that you need to create your funnel by selecting your landing page(s) and offer.

I recommend starting your first campaign with 3 different landing pages, to find out which one works the best for you. You can add multiple landing pages by clicking on the + Lander button, and Redtrack will rotate and split test them for you.

Once you have all this, save your campaign and copy your click URL which is going to be your Final URL in Voluum DSP.

How to Launch a Campaign with Voluum DSP

To get started, log in to your account, go to campaigns, click create and select DSP campaign.

Next you need to choose your campaign type, which is obviously Native.

Then you need to choose the ad exchange where you want to buy traffic from.

You can choose from all the top native traffic sources, like MGID, Taboola, Outbrain, Revcontent etc.

You can also select your geo and offer type, to filter the results.

Or you can talk to your DSP rep and ask them what they recommend.

Next you need to name your campaign, select your timezone and add tags if you want.

Then you need to add your destination URL (Redtrack campaign link in our case)

Next you need to select our target GEO, as well as source and device type.

If you want to target both mobile and desktop devices, create separate campaigns for them. One for Desktop and one for Mobile only.

You can also target specific operating systems and connection types, but you don’t have to worry about this when you just start running your campaign.

Next you need to set your max bid, and your campaign budgets.

And finally the spend strategy.

I recommend choosing smooth here in order to spend your daily budget smoothly throughout the day.

After that you need to upload your ads. Click New creatives to upload your images.

You can also set up auto-optimization and auto pausing rules for your campaign. For example if you want to stop a placement that spends X amount and don’t bring conversions, you can do that easily.

Then you can submit your campaign, and wait for approval.

Optimizing and Scaling

Once your campaign gets approved and starts getting traffic you need to gather data and start optimizing. First you need to spend money on gathering enough data to be able to optimize correctly.

Go to Redtrack, select your campaign and click on Reports

Then go to Subs and select Publisher ID first.

You will find here all the placements you received traffic from. If you have enough data start pausing the bad performing placements.

First I sort the placements by Cost, and stop all placements that spend too much and get 0 leads. So I basically try to optimize for the best lead cost possible.

I repeat this step regularly until I cut all the bad placements that are not converting.

After that, I’ll work on landing pages and creatives. I began by testing three different landing pages to determine which one performs the best.

I start by looking at the conversion rate of the landing page. In general, the quantity of leads. If one of my LPs has much less leads than the others, I cut it.

If it isn’t clear yet which lander performs the best, I try to focus on the LP CTR%.

When I find my top performing ad and landing page, I try to create very similar variations and test those as well. Changing the head lines or sub titles on your landers, or tweaking the pictures here and there is usually enough.

Once your campaign becomes profitable you need to focus on scaling. You can start by raising the daily budget, or bids on your very best placements. Increase your winning campaign’s daily budget, and if it’s still profitable, try to increase it even more.

You should also try to launch new whitelist campaigns, targeting your very best placements only, with your winning lander and creatives.

Then you should also scale further to other ad exchanges as well. Grab your winning ads and landing pages, and launch the same campaign on other ad exchanges.
