How to Use AI to Generate Leads for Your Business in 2026

If you read any industry news in the last 3 years, it’s always AI this, AI that. And that’s for a good reason. AI isnt just hype, its the most powerful tool businesses have for generating leads and growing. If you are not using it, you are missing out!

Over the past years I’ve been experimenting a lot with AI tools in my marketing. I’ve used everything from the first versions of Jasper (it was called Jarvis a long time ago, like Iron Man’s assistant), GPT, to Gemini, to Claude CLI, and many other tools you might not even heard of. Especially the ones for content creation, there is a lot of them. 

Not because it’s trendy but because it actually saves a ridiculous amount of time. And when you’re running multiple campaigns, offers, funnels, or even businesses, time is usually the biggest bottleneck.

AI is leveling the playing field, giving smaller companies a chance to compete, and even beat the big ones. With the right tools, you have the best experts on the web at your fingertips for just a few dollars a month. It’s crazy!

What is AI Lead Generation?

Before I tell you about the tactics, it’s important to know what it even is. 

It’s in the name basically. Its when you generate leads with the help of AI tools. This includes finding, attracting, qualifying, and nurturing potential customers. Instead of relying on manual research or guesswork, you use the right tools to identify the people likely to buy, 

So, with it you can:

  • Find people who are interested in your product
  • Qualify them automatically
  • Personalize your marketing
  • Help convert people

Ok now that we got that covered lets go on.

1. Use AI to Create Lead Magnets Faster

One of the easiest ways to generate leads is still the classic lead magnet funnel.

Offer something useful for free, collect the email, then follow up. This has been working forever and it’s not going away anytime soon. The difference now is that AI can dramatically speed up the creation process.

Let’s say you run a roofing business. Instead of spending a week writing a guide, you can prompt AI to create something like:

  • “7 Signs Your Roof Needs Replacement”
  • “Homeowner Checklist Before Hiring a Roofer”
  • “How to Avoid Getting Overcharged for Roof Repairs”

Within minutes, you’ll have a good guide.

You’ll still want to tweak it and add your expertise, but its 80% there. Before AI this might have taken you days. Now you can launch a lead magnet the same afternoon. And lets be honest, its often way better content, since AI knows what its talking about unlike 90% of affiliates online. 

2. Generate Landing Pages 

This is one thing that I think I have mastered with AI.

I used to have a team of developers doing this every single day. I even used to have a business that focused on providing these services to other affiliates. Back then it was unimaginable what you can do today.

While you can use GPT/Gemini to make basic LPs with simple prompts like:

“Make me a landing page for bla bla”

The real trick is to install a local LLM instance like Claude CLI and program it so it makes LPs that fit you and your style. As an example, a few days ago I bult this incredible tool with CLI that makes me crazy LPs with just a few clicks.

I made a huge spreadsheet of LPs I find during spying on competitors. Then I put the links to those LPs in the sheet and I let AI analyze them. It gives me the exact info on what makes them so good, and gives me a rough idea of what elements it should use. 

Then I feed it the niche I want to cover and tell it to make a bunch of variations of LPs based on winning combinations that are live from other people. Then with a few clicks I can take those variations, make dynamic changes to them like title, location etc so that my LPs are super customizable. 

After all of that, I tell the AI to add the right scripts and upload and link those LPs to my campaigns. Its insane. This took days to even get one-tenth of the output I get now. And I coded it all by myself with a simple $20 subscription from Anthropic. Isn’t that crazy?! I’m not even a coder. I just know what I want to build and I work on it until it’s done. 

3. AI Chatbots Can Capture Leads 24/7

This is something I see a lot of but I don’t use it that much so far. But basically AI chatbots can be implemented into any website. They are really good, and instead of having a static website, you can have a chatbot engage your visitors and try and get them to convert. 

On average people respond positively to this, and it’s also a trust factor, since mostly only the big players have chatbots, so it makes you seem a bit more trustworthy in their eyes. You can collect email, phone numbers, and other details.

It’s basically a rep that works in sales 24/7. Never takes a break, and never has a bad day with the customers. 

4. AI Is Great for Researching Potential Leads

Research is also a great thing that AI can be used for but a lot of people just ignore it for some reason. Think of it this way. AI can go through half the web in the time it takes to take a sip of coffee. If you don’t use it for research purposes, then you are crazy. It can identify common pain points, talking points, issues, fixes to these issues and much more. 

This can be incredibly helpful not only for B2C but also for B2B, where the real money is. So instead of finding people you can work with, then checking their website, contacting them through linked in, setting up meetings etc, you can let AI do most of the work (especially now with the Agentic AIs like Clawbot, and all of the new ones coming out). 

AI can also personalize your outreach. It can do research on the potential lead/client and customize its message to fit their expectations. Its crazy what you can achieve with it. 5. Generate Ad Angles

Most people are not creative, they think they are, but they just fall into the same patterns time after time. That’s why you can tell what genius painter made what artwork, because they all have their own style.

Having your own style isn’t bad, but having multiple styles that adapt to your audience is way better. I am smart enough to admit that AI can do a lot of these things better than me, and since I have it control of generating various ad angles and creatives, I only seen my ROI go up!

Here is how I brainstorm ad angles. 

I feed the AI with a bunch of ads that are winners. Then I tell it to analyze each of the videos or images on their own. If its video, I tell it to timestamp everything, identify the hook, the angles, the flow, graphics etc. After it does it for 20-50-100 videos I tell it to make variations of that for my own niche. 

It gives me crazy results of things that are so obvious but I would never think of. The hooks it makes can be incredible at times. You can then tell it to make a problem, curiosity, authority etc angle to that, and it just spits out ideas. You can then use those to make creatives later on!

6. Generate Creatives

If you follow me then you know I am really into AI creatives. I use it for my UGC ads all the time. Its crazy what you can generate nowadays, and all of that you can generate with a few clicks and well planned queries. 

If you watches some of the podcasts I was on like this one. You can see that I have been advocating for automating image creatives for a long time now. I have my own process where AIs dig though winning creatives, find common points, and then re-create these winners in my own style. And all of that is automated. Some of you might say its expensive or something crazy like that, but in reality, its super cheap. A hundred image gens costs next to nothing compared to how much profit you can make. 

And the most important thing is that now you can make incredible video creatives as well. I use VEO3.1 from Google all the time as well as Sora2, and some other models. When you combine them all together, with the right prompts, you can get 1-1 realistic AI avatars of people advertising your product. I used to pay people $100 per video, and now I make the same video for roughly a few cents. It’s crazy how the tech has advanced. The only thing I still recommend is having an editor or two ( I still have a team behind me) and make them check and fix any mistakes, add captions and CTAs, and check for consistency. Since AI loves going off the rails on some cases. 

All in all its an incredible tool that you should not miss out on!

Final Thoughts

AI is still evolving, but it’s already becoming one of the most useful tools for marketers. 

Not because it replaces strategy. But because it removes a lot of the repetitive work that used to slow us down.
