In this guide we are going to focus on running Male Enhancement offers on Zeropark Push. Male Enhancement is an evergreen vertical that converts very well if you know how to do it right.
I was spying on Push traffic sources to see what other successful affiliates are running these days, and I found that Male Enhancement is very hot on push these days.
So in this step by step tutorial I’m going to show you how to prepare, launch and optimise campaigns promoting Male Enhancement offers on one of the best Push traffic source Zeropark.
Here we go!
Finding Offers
There are multiple ways to find the best offers for your vertical. The easiest and fastest way is to go to offervault.com and search for your vertical.
In our case I’m searching for the keyword Male Enhancement.
Then you can see which network has these offers:
Or you can click on Offers to see all the offers from different networks:
Another great way (and probably the best) to find offers that are already proven by other affiliates, is by using competitive intelligence tools or spy tools.
My favorite spy tool is Adplexity. They have separate tools for all traffic types, in our case what we need is Adplexity Push.
So once I fire up adplexity, I’m going to search for the keyword ’’Male Enhancement’’
It will show you a bunch of campaigns that are running right now, and what you need to do is to click through the ads to see which offers are running.
Here are some examples:
At the time of this guide, these 3 offers are the best performers on push traffic sources.
Spying on Winning Ads and Landing Pages
As I mentioned before my favorit spying tool is AdPlexity. Since we are going to run campaigns on ZeroPark Push, it’s obvious that we are using AdPlexity PUSH for spying.
So let me show you how to uncover the best performing ads and landing pages that are proven to make money.
To get started, log in to AdPlexity Push, set the date filter to last 30 days.
Then sort the results by receiving the most traffic.
Now Adplexity will show you ads that received the most traffic in the last 30 days, and the reason we want to do this is because campaigns with so much traffic must be profitable, otherwise they would not keep running them.
Finally search for the Keyword: ’’Male Enhancement’’ to see relevant ads only.
Then what you need to do is click through the ads, to see the landing pages, offers, and make notes of the ad text and images so you can create your own variants that are similar to the top ones.
Here are the top Ads and Lander right now:
ADS:
LANDING PAGES:
If you are using AdPlexity too, you can easily download these landing pages from the Landing Page Details section, then you can change the images and texts if you want to make them your own.
Once you have all the ad materials you need, it’s time to set up ad tracking.
Ad Tracking with RedTrack
Tracking your campaigns properly is one of the most important things if you are running paid ad campaigns. Without tracking you will lose important data which is necessary for optimising your campaign.
When it comes to ad tracking tools, I always recommend RedTrack, simply because it’s the best one out there. If you don’t believe me, you can start a 14 days free trial to see it for yourself.
Setting up tracking might sound complicated if you never used a tracker before, but trust me it’s not that hard. Just follow these few easy steps:
ADD YOUR LANDING PAGES
First things first, you need to add the landing pages you are going to use. So go to landers and click on +New
Then you need to type in the name and the URL of your landing page
ADD THE AFFILIATE NETWORK YOU ARE WORKING WITH
First you need to select Offer Sources from the top navigation bar and then lick on +New
Then find your network from the list (Redtrack has a bunch of pre-built affiliate network templates) and click on the Add button.
If you can’t find the network you are working with, don’t panic, just click on the Create Custom button and add it manually.
ADD YOUR CHOSEN OFFER
Go to offers and click on +New
Type in the offer’s name, select the Offer source (Affiliate Network) and insert your Offer URL. You need to add the correct ClickID parameter to your offer link, if you are not sure what the affiliate network’s correct clickID parameter is, ask your rep, they will help you.
ADD THE TRAFFIC SOURCE
Next we need to add the traffic network where we are going to run campaigns. In this case it’s going to be Zeropark.
Go to Traffic Sources, click on +New
Then scroll down until you see ZeroPark, and click on the green Add button, that’s it.
CREATE YOUR TRACKING CAMPAIGN
Finally you need to create your tracking campaign in Redtrack. Click on campaigns and +New
Then you need to name your campaign, and select the traffic source (Zeropark)
Next you need to create your funnel by selecting your landing page(s) and offer(s)
Then you need to save your campaign and that’s pretty much it. Next copy your campaign link from the campaigns section and that’s going to be the final URL you promote on Zeropark.
Launching a Push Campaign on Zeropark
Launching a Push campaign on Zeropark is easy. Just log in to your account and click on New campaign.
Next, select Push as your Traffic Type
Then choose from the 3 available targeting options:
RON – Run On Network which means you will buy all the available traffic from the chosen country you are targeting.
Target – Use this when you already have your best performing targets (placements)
Source – Use this when you already have your best performing sources.
I highly recommend starting your first campaign as a RON campaign, to be able to buy all the available traffic, and later once we identified your best performing placements, you can launch a new Target campaign targeting your best placements only.
After that, type in your campaign name and select the country you are going to target.
Next select the maximum bid amount that you are willing to pay for a click (I recommend starting out with the suggested bid by the system) and your daily and overall campaign budgets. After selecting a device type you want to target.
You should always separate Desktop and Mobile campaigns, because the bids are not the same, and you don’t want to end up overpaying. So if you want to target both devices, create a Desktop campaign first, then come back and create a new one targeting Mobile devices only.
Next you need to choose the traffic type you want to target. Non Adult or Adult. If your offer, lander or ads contain adult content you need to select Adult only.
If you aren’t sure, launch separate campaigns for both to test, or simply talk to your zeropark rep and show them your ads/LPs/offers and ask them.
In the next section you can upload your ads. Click on browse and upload your ad images and then type in your ad text in the title and description boxes.
Then you need to add your Redtrack campaign link as your destination URL. Make sure your link contains the {cid} clickID token.
Finally we need to set up conversion tracking. Select Redtrack then copy the Postback
then URLand paste it into your Redtrack campaign.
Now you successfully created your first campaign, all you have to do now is wait for the approval team to approve your campaign.
Monitoring Reports in Redtrack
Once your campaign becomes approved and active, you need to log in to your Redtrack account, select your campaign and click on Reports.
Then select Subs from the top menu and go through all the subs to ensure that the data is coming through the parameters.
The most important parameters you need for optimising are:
Target ID, Source ID, Creative ID, Campaign ID
If you see data on Sub1 (or whatever sub you choose) it means the setup was correct and you are receiving the data you need for optimisation.
Campaign Optimisation
Optimising your campaigns is important, this is the phase when you are going to make your campaigns profitable by stopping bad performing placements, creatives etc. and let the best ones run only.
So after our campaign was live for a day or two and you have enough data, you can start optimizing the placements.
To get started go to your campaign, click reports and select Target ID/Placement ID from the Subs menu.
Next you need to analyse the data you are getting, and stop all placements that are spending money without bringing any conversions or leads, in other words wasting money. First stop only the ones that are significantly bad and let the others collect more data.
You need to focus on stats, like CTR% Landing Page CTR%, clicks and cost. If you see that some placements spend more than the others and the CTR is low, you need to stop those as well.
To stop a placement, click on your campaign on Zeropark, select Targets, and pause the ones that are wasting your money.
Then we also need to analyse the creatives and if there are bad performing creatives stop them or replace them with new ones and continue testing.
TIP: On Push traffic creatives burn out pretty fast, so you need to check the performance of your images regularly, and add new ones for testing if needed.
To check the data on your creatives go to campaign reports in Retrack and select Creative ID from the Subs menu.
If any of your creatives got significantly less conversions than the others or it has a much lower CTR, stop it and and replace it with a new one that is very similar to your top creatives.
To get started optimising your creatives you need to have enough data, so don’t do it right away. It usually takes a couple of days to get enough data to be able to optimise creatives accurately.
After that when you have more data you can try optimising other segments of your campaigns too, like Landers, Devices, OS versions, Browsers etc.
Scaling
Once you identify the profitable segments of your campaigns (placements, creatives, landers etc.) you need to start working on scaling to squeeze out as much money as possible from your campaigns.
Start with simply increasing the daily budget on your winning campaign and see how it goes. Also you can try adjusting with the bids on your campaign.
If you bid a bit higher you can reach new audiences, or try to decrease them a bit and see if your campaign remains profitable, if not, increase it. You need to find the sweet spot.
If your Offer is available in multiple GEOs you can scale by creating separate campaigns targeting other counties as well.
For this it’s highly recommended to localize (translate) all your ads and landing pages to match the local languages.
Finally you can try to launch your winning campaigns with the same settings and creatives on other Push traffic sources as well.
