There is a reason this guide is being focused on RedTrack and not on other tracking solutions. It’s not because it’s less expensive than others (in some cases RedTrack is up to 10x cheaper), it’s not because of the advanced options and expert level data analysis (even though this part is true as well), it’s because it’s newbie-friendly. Like I said a million times, I wish more people would see affiliate marketing as a viable income stream because that would mean more people would benefit in the entire chain, myself included.
Have you ever wondered why blogs like mine exist in the first place? Good affiliates earn serious money, but how come you keep seeing detailed posts like this one sharing every detail and enabling others to replicate the results? Well, it’s because the more people are involved, the better is for everyone in the system, meaning bigger audience, better sales, more money for everyone.
And even the end users benefit from being able to purchase products or services in an easier way. And, thus the real reason picking RedTrack over alternatives like Voluum or ADSbridge or Thrive; It’s simple yet sophisticated, and ANYONE can use it right of the back.
Simple RedTrack search will provide plenty of reviews and explanations of what this platform does or how it works, but seeing as you are already here, let me explain it in my own words and as simply as I can.
RedTrack is a SaaS tracking and analytics platform that enables media buyers and affiliates to get better returns on their investments.
If you had trouble understanding that, here is a breakdown;
Saas (Software as a Service) means you get a service in a form of an entire platform
- Tracking and Analytics mean that Redtrack provides tracking of each action in the chain and translates that data into meaningful things you can analyze and make decisions based on that.
- Media buyers and affiliates are basically the types of users benefiting from this service. Marketers and advertisers alike are depending on RedTrack to monitor the success of their mutual cooperation.
- ROI (Return on investment) – think of it as more money gained for less money invested.
Now that we have everyone informed to the same level (some of you advanced folks might not have enjoyed the journey so far), it’s time to get to the chase.
What makes RedTrack the Best Tracking Solution?
Let’s start with the most obvious one – it’s cheaper than others. RedTrack is the only tracking service, that I know of, that offers free membership. There are others, I presume, but I don’t think any other service can match the functionality of RedTrack for the given free membership. So, for up to 50.000 events a month, the tracker is completely free.
There are two types of users that will appreciate free membership:
- up-and-comers who are managing their first campaign and are starting to learn the basics
- seasoned affiliates looking to test the new ideas without investing a whole lot of money into the test.
Moving away from the free membership territory and into prolonged professional use, you can also see that it is considerably cheaper than alternatives
Let me just mention this as well; many of you have probably heard that RedTrack is a better alternative to Voluum in terms of pricing, but I’ve got a feeling that soon, you will start hearing that Voluum is the more expensive alternative. The difference being who takes the lead in innovation and implementation of new features.
This segues into the second advantage of the tracker over competition; constant improvements. From the time I switched to RedTrack completely a few months ago till today, more than a dozen useful features and tools have been added. And half of them I’ve seen for the first time on the tracker, but nowadays, I basically can’t do without.
Within the sea of other reasons to choose RedTrack over Voluum or any other tracking software, I would like to point out the one that really stands out for you. I am addressing the beginners in the world of affiliate marketing. RedTrack is so simple and so streamlined, you could probably abandon this guide right now and still manage to set up decent tracking template yourself. And just to prove the point, here are the lists of both affiliate network templates and traffic network templates RedTrack offers (alphabetical):
Affiliate Network Templates
Afflow/Monetizer
Traffic Network Templates
As you can count, over 30 templates in each category are available to help you successfully track your campaign. It’s like Lego, meaning it’s child-proof but still fun and precise.
RedTrack differs from other services because they are not the first service on the market, but they are definitely motivated to remain the best (since I kind of already think they are best at this point). By far the best customer support in the segment and features like tracking from acustom domain, among others, are proving that for the coming years, the competition will have a tough time reaching the level of service RedTrack offers, let alone surpassing it.
