5 Ways To Check The Health of Your Landing Page / Offer URLs To Ensure No Virus Scanner Will Flag It or Get You Banned – Updated for 2021

If you are running ads on Facebook, Google Adwords, or any traffic source for that matter. Doesn’t matter if its blackhat like tech support PPC, or diet, skin, muscle or white hat like VPN offers, or app installs there comes a time where your landing page, URL, or offer URL might be flagged.

This can have many cons, including you losing visitors to alerts shown by their virus scanners, or worse web browser like Chrome. Or, your traffic source detecting your site as ‘malicious’ and banning/suspending your account.

This is why it’s important to do some periodic due diligence. I like to look up my offer and landing page URLs before I get my assistant to setup the campaigns on the traffic source. And then, have them checked every week or so to ensure we’re in good standing. We also like to run through these checks if the numbers go bad really fast from one day another; it’s always a signal for alert.

[Very Important] How to Make Money on Facebook – The First Step – ANGLES

Angles are one of the most important things (aside images) when it comes to Facebook. Having a good angle can make or break a campaign.   Why? Because the marketing ‘angle’ is how you can connect with your audience. And here’s the funny part;  if you come up with what you think is a killer angle, it might actually suck. Most of the times, the stupidest angles I thought would never ever work, end up killing it and performing 300% better than the one I thought is the best.

To test angles, you first should dial in the best image. Start by doing 10 ads, with no angle, and see which one gets you the highest CTR.

Are you making this mistake? Facebook Ads

I admit, when I started doing Facebook ads 3 years ago for app installs; I made this mistake.

It cost me a couple thousand dollars and forced me to return to what I know best – Google Adwords. But since the algo update this March in Adwords; I’ve took a lot of time to invest into testing every single targeting option, ad structure, placement, trick in the book there is from a technical standpoint. I invested over $100,000 into data so it can do the talking for me.

Forget about guru products; most gurus make their money teaching you this stuff; but is what they say true or they just want it to sound good so they AWE + INSPIRE so you come back and buy their up-sell? You decide on that one.

What is the best way to structure an FB ad campaign?

This is a very common question, and no matter what page you visit there is always a different answer. You can believe this, or that but me being a technical guy, I love to analyze and then figure out really which is the best method to run.

Take for example, a Shopify store with 10 products.  Some say it’s best to make 1 campaign, then one adset for each product.  Sure it works;  but what if you want to scale, what if you want to run tests, what if you want to keep things organized so you know birds eye view which campaign is performing, which needs optimization and so on.

[CASE STUDY] What is the right time to start your Facebook ad campaign?

When to start your Facebook ad campaign is great question.  Often times we are scared if we screw this up; FB will punish us with sky high prices and/or we will shoot ourselves in the foot and won’t stand a chance against our competitor. In fact,  if you are doing Facebook, you will always hear the advice “start your campaigns at midnight when the account resets”. Everyone swears by this; but I don’t trust anyone – I trust data. So I did another paid test, and I am sharing the results of this split test with you for free.
